Tonight's Presidential Debate between the one and only Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton will truly be a sight to behold. Just listening to the radio promo's on the Conservative Radio Station here in San Francisco, CA, (560 AM KSFO) it sounds like a commercial for a comedy roast or a "Yo Mama" battle!
It's really funny!Based on previous sound bite's on this commercial and other media outlets, if one candidate mentions the other, it comes off as a 'school-yard' put-down! It's quite pathetically comical.
I have never been apart of the United States Presidential Debate, but I have taken part in debates for school and I don't remember being taught to use child-like tactics, in attempt to discredit your opponent by calling them a "Liar!". To the contrary I would spend more time explaining the merits of my argument and supporting my argument with fact's, statistics,or whatever was deemed appropriate based on the topic. This debate will naturally be based on 'Why American's should vote for either candidate?'. One's decision should be based on the candidates ability to express why they are best suited to be the 'President of The United States'. The candidates should give responses that explain in great detail 'Why they are the best equipped for the job?', Explain and brag about past accomplishment's and accolade's that would apply to the role of President', and most importantly they should have detailed preliminary plan's that will hopefully address the plethora of issues Americans are facing today. Like issues on immigration, police killings, monetary issues, etc.
One major example would be the Financial System being on the brink of collapse and the Federal Reserve overplaying their hand and refusing to raise rates. Which could have a negative impact on the already over inflated U.S. Dollar. Or how about giving new thoughts and idea's on suppressing terrorist attack's here at home and abroad. If we wish to truly put a stop to all the terrorist attacks we must have an intelligent plan and we must work with international parties who share the same values. If we could develop some sort of proprietary system where allies can inform us of suspected terrorist's whereabouts, travel plan's, and then we could work together, that would be great. (Assuming we don't already do this)
So instead of spending most of their time shaming the other candidate and calling out past statement's, from that one time they were drunk at a frat party in college and said some regrettable things! It's nonsense! For undecided voter's like myself, this sort of tactic does not help persuade me either way. It most definitely doesn't provide me with more information on what the candidate plan's to do if they win. I need to hear a concrete plan of action that either candidate plan's to implement the moment they step foot into the oval office! Even if the plan the present tonight is a flat out lie, as long as they put a well choreographed speech that sounds good, I might be persuaded.(I'm only kidding about the "Lie")
I hope you all enjoy the Presidential Debate, in just a few hours...
